Kuwait – Mubasher: Awj Holding Company’s ordinary general meeting (OGM) approved distributing a cash dividend representing 7.5% of its capital at 7.5 fils per share.

The total value of the cash distribution amounts to KWD 1.35 million, Awj said in a filing to Boursa Kuwait on Wednesday.

The OGM approved the auditors’ and the board's reports, as well as profit and loss accounts for 2016.

Awj’s profits dropped 34% to KWD 1.6 million in 2016, compared to KWD 2.37 million in 2015.

By 10:28 am Kuwait time, the stock lost 5.95% to 79 fils on Wednesday achieving a liquidity of KWD 96,150 after 1.22 million shares were traded.
